Youth Ministry is a team sport, and I’m hoping to help!  Too often we treat our ministries as something we compete with; our numbers, our activities, it’s how we compete with one another.  Instead, HD works to bring you the best advice and resources from a number of talented, accomplished youth leaders in the hopes that we can all be better together. Our goal here is to win teens to Christianity and maintain useful youth ministries.  Have an idea you’d like to share?  Contact HD!

My name is Kellen, and I’ve been a full time youth minister since the summer of 2004.  In that time, I’ve worked with teens and college-aged youth through youth groups, retreats, mission trips and youth conferences.  I’m also a United Methodist pastor, a youth ministry consultant and a ukulele enthusiast.  I don’t claim to know it all, just that I have a lot of fun doing what I do, and I’d like to help others with their ministries.
